A Wyoming Transfer Certificate (WTC) is a document issued by the Wyoming Department of Education that provides evidence of a student’s successful completion of coursework and/or graduation from an accredited Wyoming public high school. The WTC enables Wyoming students to transfer their credits to other educational institutions and/or enter the workforce. There are two types of WTC: the Standard WTC and the Technical WTC. The Standard WTC is issued to students who have completed high school graduation requirements and is used for college or university admissions. The Technical WTC is issued to students who have completed an approved career and technical education program and is used to satisfy entry-level requirements for employment or technical school admissions.
