New York Electronic Attachment (Yeast) is an online system that allows employers in New York State to submit wage reports and other filings electronically. Yeast enables employers to securely submit payroll documents, such as Quarterly Combined Withholding, Wage Reporting, and Unemployment Insurance Returns (Forms NYS-45, IT-2104, and IT-2105), to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. The system also allows employers to make payments, view past filings, and manage account information. There are three types of Yeast: Yeast Basic, Yeast Express, and Yeast Plus. Yeast Basic is a free service that provides employers with a secure way to file their payroll documents and pay taxes electronically. Yeast Express is a subscription-based service that allows employers to submit payroll documents and payments with faster turnaround times. Yeast Plus is a web-based application that allows employers to manage their payroll documents, payments, and account information in one place.
