North Dakota CONTRACTOR WITHOUT LICENSE COMPLAINT is a complaint filed when a contractor is found to be in violation of North Dakota licensing laws. This complaint is filed by the North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Rights. There are two types of contractor without license complaints in North Dakota: residential and commercial. Residential complaints are complaints about residential contractors who are not licensed in the state of North Dakota and are providing services to consumers. Commercial complaints are complaints about commercial contractors who are not licensed in the state of North Dakota and are providing services to businesses. Both of these complaints involve contractors who are not properly licensed and are in violation of North Dakota state law. The complaint must be filed within 90 days of the violation. Further action may be taken against the contractor, such as fines or suspension of their license.
