Alaska Articles of Consolidation for Domestic Nonprofit Corporation is a document used to consolidate two or more domestic nonprofit corporations in the state of Alaska. This document is used to combine the assets and liabilities of two or more domestic nonprofit corporations into a single entity. The combined entity will have the legal rights and responsibilities of the original entities. This document must be properly executed and filed with the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing in order to be legally effective. There are two types of Alaska Articles of Consolidation for Domestic Nonprofit Corporation: Short Form and Long Form. The Short Form is used when all the entities involved are Alaska corporations and the Long Form is used when one or more of the entities involved is not an Alaska corporation. Both forms require the name of the surviving entity, the names of all the entities being consolidated, the signature of the incorporated or authorized representative of each of the entities, and the signature of a witness.
