Washington Case Records Requests are a type of public records request made to the Washington State Supreme Court Clerk’s Office. These requests are for case information, such as court documents, opinions, briefs, and oral arguments. There are three main types of Washington Case Records Requests: 1) Court Records (including all orders, judgments, and opinions of the court); 2) Briefs (including all briefs filed in a case); and 3) Oral Arguments (including all oral arguments heard in a case). All of these requests must be made in writing, and the required forms can be obtained from the court clerk’s office. The requested documents must be picked up in person, and the requester must pay all applicable fees.
