Washington Request for Recordings Logs are forms that allow individuals to request recordings of their interactions with law enforcement, such as audio or video recordings of traffic stops, interviews, or interrogations. These logs are kept by the Washington State Patrol and the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs. There are two types of Washington Request for Recordings Logs: the Standard Form and the Supplemental Form. The Standard Form is used for all requests for recordings, while the Supplemental Form is used to request recordings from multiple agencies. Both forms must be completed in order for the request to be processed.
