The New Jersey Certification of No Objection (Chapter 11) is a type of certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury that allows the debtor to reorganize their debts through bankruptcy. The certificate states that the Department of the Treasury does not oppose the debtor's proposed plan of reorganization. The debtor must submit the certificate along with the debtor's proposed plan of reorganization to the court. There are two types of New Jersey Certifications of No Objection (Chapter 11): a Standard Certificate and an Expedited Certificate. The Standard Certificate is issued after the Department of the Treasury has reviewed and approved the debtor's proposed plan of reorganization. The Expedited Certificate is issued when the Department of the Treasury has not reviewed the plan but has no objection to the proposed plan.
