Indiana Civil Rights Complaint (Prisoner) is a formal legal document used by prisoners in Indiana to file a complaint against the Department of Corrections (DOC) for violations of their civil rights. Complaints may include, but are not limited to, claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, inadequate medical care, mistreatment, unsanitary conditions, denial of due process, denial of access to the courts, and other violations of state and federal laws. There are two types of Indiana Civil Rights Complaint (Prisoner): the Prisoner General Complaint and the Prisoner Specific Complaint. The Prisoner General Complaint is used to file a broad complaint about the DOC's general treatment of prisoners, while the Prisoner Specific Complaint is used to file a more specific complaint about a particular incident or issue.
