Wisconsin Articles of Incorporation — Cooperative are a set of documents used to register a Cooperative in the State of Wisconsin. These articles provide information about the cooperative's purpose, its initial members, and its board of directors. There are three types of Wisconsin Articles of Incorporation — Cooperative: 1) Articles of Incorporation for Profit Cooperatives; 2) Articles of Incorporation for Nonprofit Cooperatives; and 3) Articles of Incorporation for Cooperatives with Limited Liability. These documents must be filed with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions in order to form a cooperative.
