A Washington Contractor's License Bond Address Change Rider is an add-on document to the contractor's license bond that allows the contractor to legally change their business address. This document is required by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and must be submitted to the L&I office at least 30 days prior to the date of the address change. The rider must be signed by both the contractor and the surety company. There are two types of Washington Contractor's License Bond Address Change Riders — the Address Change Rider for Original Contractor’s License Bond and the Address Change Rider for Renewal Contractor’s License Bond.
