The Washington Declaration of Entitlement — Totally Disabled Worker Under Industrial Insurance is a legal document issued to workers who have been found to be permanently disabled due to an industrial accident. It entitles the worker to receive certain benefits from the state's industrial insurance program. There are two types of Washington Declaration of Entitlement — Totally Disabled Worker Under Industrial Insurance: Total Permanent Disability (TED) and Total Temporary Disability (TTD). TED is for workers who are unable to work in any capacity due to their disability. TTD is for workers who are unable to work in their usual occupation due to their disability, but are able to work in some other capacity. Both types of declarations provide the worker with medical and wage replacement benefits, as well as vocational rehabilitation services.
