Washington Offender Registration Attachment (WORK) is a statewide system that requires certain categories of offenders to register their address and other personal information with the Washington State Patrol (WSP). WORK is a notification system designed to provide public notification of the presence of certain offenders in a particular community. There are three types of Washington Offender Registration Attachment: Level I, Level II, and Level III. Level I offenders are the highest risk, and must register for a minimum of 15 years. Level II offenders must register for a minimum of 10 years and Level III offenders must register for a minimum of 5 years. Registration includes providing the offender's name, address, date of birth, and a photograph. Failure to comply with WORK is a violation of the law and can result in criminal charges.
