Vermont Data Tracking Release (Mediation) is a system developed by the Vermont Agency of Education to facilitate the secure and timely sharing of student data among authorized individuals. This system enables the sharing of data related to student achievement, attendance, and other educational outcomes. The system is supported by a secure web-based portal that allows users to access and review data in real time. The system also allows users to export data into an electronic format for further analysis. The Vermont Data Tracking Release (Mediation) system has two main components: the Data Release Manager and the Data Request Manager. The Data Release Manager allows authorized users to share individual student data with approved data requestors. The Data Request Manager enables the data requestors to securely access the data they need for their research or analysis. The Vermont Data Tracking Release (Mediation) system is divided into two types: the General Data Release (GDR) and the Education Data Exchange Network (EDEN). The GDR is available to all requestors, while EDEN is available only to approved educational institutions. Both types of data releases are subject to the same data access and security protocols.
