Utah Respondents Request To Vacate Temporary Protective Order is a form used by individuals in Utah who wish to ask the court to vacate a Temporary Protective Order (TPO) granted against them. There are two types of Utah Respondents Request To Vacate Temporary Protective Order: Request to Vacate Ex Parte Temporary Protective Order and Request to Vacate Temporary Protective Order After Notice and Hearing. The Request to Vacate Ex Parte Temporary Protective Order is used when the TPO was granted without notice to the respondent, whereas the Request to Vacate Temporary Protective Order After Notice and Hearing is used when the respondent was given notice and an opportunity to be heard. The form must be filled out and filed with the court that granted the TPO. It should include the respondent's name, address, and contact information; the date the TPO was issued; the court in which it was issued; and reasons why the TPO should be vacated. The court may then hold a hearing and make a decision on the request.
