The law also prohibits any attempt to induce, entice, or coerce a minor to engage in any sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing, transporting, and possessing child pornography. This law applies to any visual depiction, including photographs, digital images, and videos. There are four different types of 18 U.S.C. Sec. 2251(a) Sexual Exploitation of Child offenses: (1) production of child pornography, (2) transportation of child pornography, (3) possession of child pornography, and (4) inducing, enticement, or coercion of a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child pornography.
