A Texas Complaint and Request for Injunction is a legal filing that is used in civil court proceedings in the state of Texas. It is a document used to ask a court for an injunction, which is a court order that requires someone to do (or refrain from doing) a particular action. There are two different types of Texas Complaint and Request for Injunction: Temporary Injunction and Permanent Injunction. A Temporary Injunction is a court order that is in effect until the court holds a hearing and makes a ruling on the matter. A Permanent Injunction is a court order that is in effect until it is modified or overturned by a higher court. In either case, the Complaint and Request for Injunction must be filed in the appropriate court and must include certain information such as the names of the parties involved, the nature of the dispute, and any relevant facts.
