Texas Notification of Suspension of Indemnity Benefit Payment (124.2(e)(6)) is a notification from an insurance company to an injured party informing them that the insurance company is suspending the payment of their indemnity benefit until further notice. This notification is required by the Texas Insurance Code, Section 124.2(e)(6). There are two types of Texas Notification of Suspension of Indemnity Benefit Payment (124.2(e)(6)): Notice of Suspension of Indemnity Benefits for Medical Reasons and Notice of Suspension of Indemnity Benefits for Non-Medical Reasons. The Notice of Suspension of Indemnity Benefits for Medical Reasons is issued when an insurance company has evidence that an injured party's medical condition has improved to the extent that the payment of indemnity benefits is no longer required. The Notice of Suspension of Indemnity Benefits for Non-Medical Reasons is issued when an insurance company has evidence that an injured party has engaged in activities that are inconsistent with receiving indemnity benefits.
