A Tennessee Restraining Order is a legal document issued by a court in the state of Tennessee that serves to protect an individual or family from harm or harassment by another individual. It typically prohibits the respondent from engaging in certain behaviors, such as contact, communication, or physical proximity to the petitioner. There are three types of Tennessee Restraining Orders: Domestic Abuse Restraining Orders, Civil No Contact Orders, and Full Order of Protection.
