SCAB RBC is also designed to provide a unified platform for organizations to report their positive impacts on a regular basis. There are three types of South Carolina Annual Benefit Report Benefit Corporations: B Corporation, Benefit LLC, and Public Benefit Corporation. B Corporations are companies that have been certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Benefit LCS are limited liability companies that are structured to have a social mission and are subject to annual reporting requirements. Public Benefit Corporations are corporations that are required to meet certain reporting standards and create a material positive impact on society and the environment.
