Pennsylvania Section 304.2 Application For Religious Exception to Specified Employed is a form used to apply for an exemption from the Sunday labor law regarding certain specified employees. This form is used to request an exemption from working on Sunday, the traditional day of rest for many religious denominations. This form must be completed and submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry in order to obtain a religious exemption. There are two types of Pennsylvania Section 304.2 Application For Religious Exception to Specified Employed: Type 1 for religious organizations and Type 2 for religious employers. Type 1 is used to apply for an exemption from the Sunday labor law for organizations that operate within the tenets of a recognized religion, while Type 2 is used to apply for an exemption from the Sunday labor law for religious employers.
