Pennsylvania Tenant Affidavit (Sec. 8) RCP MDJDJ No. 1013 (c)(2) is a legal document used by tenants in Pennsylvania who are participating in the Section 8 housing program. It is used to affirm that the tenant meets the program's income and eligibility requirements, as well as to confirm the tenant's legal right to occupy the rental unit. This document requires the tenant to provide their name, address, date of birth, and other personal information as well as a signature. The affidavit also contains multiple types of questions that must be answered accurately in order to receive approval from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. There are three different types of Pennsylvania Tenant Affidavit (Sec. 8) RCP MDJDJ No. 1013 (c)(2): the Initial Tenant Affidavit, the Annual Tenant Affidavit, and the Transfer Tenant Affidavit. The Initial Tenant Affidavit is used when the tenant first applies for the Section 8 program. The Annual Tenant Affidavit is filled out each year to update the tenant's information and to ensure they still meet the eligibility requirements. The Transfer Tenant Affidavit is used when a tenant moves from one Section 8 rental unit to another.
