The New York Certificate of Resignation of Registered Agent (Foreign LLP) is a document filed with the New York Department of State to formally terminate the service of a Registered Agent (Foreign Limited Liability Partnership) in the state. It is used to provide evidence that a Registered Agent (Foreign LLP) has resigned from their position and is no longer responsible for the service of process or other communications related to the business. The New York Certificate of Resignation of Registered Agent (Foreign LLP) must be signed by the Registered Agent and contain their name, address, and signature. There are two types of New York Certificate of Resignation of Registered Agent (Foreign LLP): a Domestic Certificate of Resignation and a Foreign Certificate of Resignation. The Domestic Certificate of Resignation must be filed with the New York Department of State, and the Foreign Certificate of Resignation must be filed with the state of the Registered Agent's formation.
