New Mexico Articles of Dissolution (Domestic Nonprofit Corp) is a document used to legally dissolve a non-profit corporation in the state of New Mexico. This document must be filed with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (PRC) in order to officially dissolve the corporation. The Articles of Dissolution must include the name of the corporation, the date of incorporation, the names and addresses of the directors, and the reason for dissolution. There are two types of New Mexico Articles of Dissolution (Domestic Nonprofit Corp): voluntary dissolution and judicial dissolution. A voluntary dissolution is initiated by the directors of the corporation, while a judicial dissolution is initiated by a court order. Once filed, the dissolution is effective upon receipt and approval by the PRC.
