The Illinois Class 2 Security Risk Officer (SRO) application is an online application system that allows applicants to apply for a Class 2 SRO license in the state of Illinois. The Class 2 SRO license is a government-issued credential that authorizes an individual to perform security risk officer duties for private security firms in the state. The application requires information about the applicant’s qualifications, professional experience, and training, as well as the completion of a background check and fingerprint submission. Once the application is approved, the applicant will need to attend an approved SRO training program before they can be issued a Class 2 SRO license. There are two types of Illinois Class 2 SRO application: an Initial License application for new applicants and a Renewal application for those who already hold a Class 2 SRO license.
