District of Columbia RA-1 Registered Agent Written Consent is an agreement between a business entity and its registered agent that serves as evidence that the registered agent consents to serve in that role. It is a type of written consent form that must be completed and filed with the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DORA). The consent form gives the registered agent permission to accept service of process, notices, and other documents on behalf of the business entity. There are two types of District of Columbia RA-1 Registered Agent Written Consent forms: the Domestic Entity RA-1, which should be used for domestic entities, and the Foreign Entity RA-1, which should be used for foreign entities. Each form must be completed in its entirety, signed by both the registered agent and the business entity, and filed with the DORA.
