California Request for Full Re conveyance is a form used in California to request that a mortgagor’s lien be removed from a property title. It is typically used when a borrower pays off a loan secured by a mortgage or deed of trust. The form is generally signed and notarized by the borrower, and sent to the lender/service. The California Request for Full Re conveyance comes in two main types: 1. Preliminary Change of Ownership Report: This report is used to notify the County Recorder of the change of ownership of the property. It is typically filed with the County Recorder within 3 days of the date of the release. 2. Request for Full Re conveyance: This request is sent to the lender/service to request that the lien be removed from the property title. It is typically filed with the lender/service within 10 days of the date of the release. Once the lender/service receives the Request for Full Re conveyance, they will issue a full reconveyance of the mortgagor’s lien. The full reconveyance will be recorded with the County Recorder in order to clear the title of any remaining liens.
