An Arizona Order For Protected Address (also known as an OPA or Address Confidentiality Program) is a legal process that enables individuals to keep their physical address private in order to protect their safety. This order is designed for victims of domestic violence, stalking, sexual offenses, or other forms of abuse, and for individuals who are at risk of becoming victims of these crimes. The order provides individuals with a substitute address that is maintained by the Arizona Secretary of State's Office, which can be used in place of their actual address when conducting official business with state, county, or municipal agencies. There are two types of Arizona Order For Protected Address: an initial order, which lasts for one year, and a renewal order, which can be renewed every year thereafter.
