Alaska Articles of Amendment (Domestic Cooperative Corporation) are documents used to alter the original Articles of Incorporation of a domestic cooperative corporation in the state of Alaska. The Articles of Amendment allow for changes to be made to the original corporate structure and purpose of the cooperative. Common changes that can be made to the Articles of Amendment include changing the name of the cooperative, altering the organizational structure, and revising the cooperative’s articles of association. The Articles of Amendment must be filed with the Alaska Corporations Division in order to be legally binding. There are three types of Alaska Articles of Amendment (Domestic Cooperative Corporation): Articles of Amendment of Name, Articles of Amendment of Articles, and Articles of Amendment of Structure.
