Household hazardous wastes are any product labeled: toxic, poison, corrosive, flammable, combustible or irritant that is thrown into the household garbage can.
The most important information to be included on the label is: The words, "HAZARDOUS WASTE" The waste accumulation start date. The phase and composition of the waste (e.g., liquid pesticide) Declaration of any particular toxic or hazardous properties (e.g., flammability, strong oxidizer, etc.)

The consignment note code must be your premises code followed by five letters or numbers. if 'ABC123' was the code we sent you when you registered your premises with us, the consignment note code would be ABC123/XX - 'X' is a random set of letters or numbers which makes the code unique.
In this case, the DOT Proper Shipping Name will either be “Hazardous waste liquid, n.o.s.” or “Hazardous waste solid, n.o.s.” Since these names already include the word “waste,” the shipper does NOT precede them with a redundant “waste.”
Universal wastes include televisions, computers and other electronic devices as well as batteries, fluorescent lamps, mercury thermostats, and other mercury containing equipment, among others.
