Wyoming MISC GA 14. Order Setting Hearing is a hearing conducted by the Wyoming Mineral and Mining Commission to determine the appropriate way to set the royalty rate for an oil and gas lease. It is also known as a royalty setting hearing. The hearing is conducted in accordance with the Wyoming Mineral and Mining Commission Rules and Regulations. The hearing is conducted in order to determine the appropriate royalty rate for the lease. The Wyoming Mineral and Mining Commission will consider factors such as the location of the lease, the type of oil and gas production, the amount and quality of the oil and gas produced, the terms of the lease, and any other relevant factors. There are two types of Wyoming MISC GA 14. Order Setting Hearing: Formal Hearings and Informal Hearings. Formal Hearings are conducted by the Wyoming Mineral and Mining Commission in accordance with their Rules and Regulations and require evidence and testimony to be presented. Informal Hearings are conducted by the Wyoming Mineral and Mining Commission without evidence or testimony being presented and are typically used to resolve disputes between the parties.
