Wisconsin Articles of Dissolution — Cooperative are documents that are filed with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions when a cooperative wishes to dissolve. The documents include basic information about the cooperative, such as its name, address, and date of formation, as well as the reasons for dissolution and the name of the person filing the documents. There are two types of Wisconsin Articles of Dissolution — Cooperative: Voluntary Dissolution and Involuntary Dissolution. A Voluntary Dissolution is initiated by the members of the cooperative and requires the unanimous consent of all the members for dissolution. An Involuntary Dissolution is initiated by a court order and requires approval from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions.
