Washington Application for Insignia for Commercial Coaches is a program created by the Washington State Department of Licensing to allow commercial coach operators to obtain a permit and to display an insignia on their vehicles. It is intended for companies that provide transportation services, such as charter services, sightseeing services, public transportation services, and more. The program requires an application to be submitted with the required documentation, such as vehicle registration, proof of liability insurance, and a certificate of fitness. Once approved, the application will be issued an insignia that must be affixed to the vehicle. There are two types of Washington Application for Insignia for Commercial Coaches: full-service and limited-service. Full-service insignia authorize a coach operator to provide all transportation services available in the state, while limited-service insignia authorize the operator to provide only certain services.
