Washington Notice of Registration of Out-of-State Custody Order is a form used to register a court order from another state in the state of Washington. This form is used to establish, modify, or enforce a custody or visitation order issued by another state's court. There are two types of Washington Notice of Registration of Out-of-State Custody Order: 1) Notice of Registration of Foreign Order for Child Custody; and 2) Notice of Registration of Foreign Order for Visitation. The Notice of Registration of Foreign Order for Child Custody is used to register a court order from another state that grants custody of a child to a person or persons, or which modifies or enforces an existing custody order. The Notice of Registration of Foreign Order for Visitation is used to register a court order from another state that grants visitation rights to a person or persons, or which modifies or enforces an existing visitation order. Both forms require information such as the name and address of the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the child, as well as the court order being registered.
