Washington Notice: Out-of-State Custody Order Confirmed Without Hearing is a form used by Washington courts to confirm a custody order that was issued by a court in another state without a hearing. It is used when the custodial parent seeks to have the out-of-state custody order confirmed in Washington, and the noncustodial parent does not object to the confirmation. The Washington Notice form includes a statement that the out-of-state custody order is confirmed and is now in effect. There are two types of Washington Notice: Out-of-State Custody Order Confirmed Without Hearing: 1) a voluntary out-of-state custody agreement and 2) an involuntary out-of-state custody order.
