Vermont License to Sell or Convey is an official license issued by the state of Vermont to allow a person or business to buy, sell, or transfer real estate in the state. This license is required in order to conduct real estate transactions in the state. There are two types of Vermont License to Sell or Convey: a Broker's License and a Salesperson's License. A Broker's License allows a person or business to work independently and manage real estate transactions. A Salesperson's License allows a person or business to work under the supervision of a licensed Broker and perform real estate transactions. In order to obtain either type of license, applicants must pass an exam and submit an application to the Vermont Real Estate Commission.
