The Virginia Cover Sheet for Reaffirmation and Reaffirmation Agreement is a document used in Virginia state courts to inform the court of the terms and conditions of a reaffirmation agreement. A reaffirmation agreement is a document by which a debtor in bankruptcy agrees to continue making payments on a certain debt despite the fact that the debt may have been discharged in bankruptcy. The Virginia Cover Sheet for Reaffirmation and Reaffirmation Agreement must be filed with the court in order to reaffirm the debt. The Virginia Cover Sheet for Reaffirmation and Reaffirmation Agreement includes the following information: the names of the parties to the agreement; the date of the agreement; the name of the creditor; a brief description of the debt; the terms of the agreement; and the signatures of the parties to the agreement. There are two types of Virginia Cover Sheet for Reaffirmation and Reaffirmation Agreement: the Virginia Cover Sheet for Reaffirmation Agreement and the Virginia Cover Sheet for Reaffirmation of Personal Property.
