18 U.S.C. Sec. 2256(3) "Producing" — Defined is a subsection of the U.S. Code which defines the term "producing" as it relates to the production of child pornography. Specifically, it states that the term "producing" includes any conduct that is involved in the actual creation or manufacture of the pornography, or any conduct that induces, entices, or coerces a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct that is used in the creation or manufacture of the pornography. This includes photography, filming, and other forms of production. The term also includes any conduct that transports, distributes, or reproduces any visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
