Texas Address Change is the process of notifying the state of Texas of a change to an individual's mailing address. This process includes updating the address for all state services, including tax returns, driver's license and identification cards, vehicle registrations, voter registration, and other state services. There are three types of Texas Address Change: online, in-person, or by mail. The online Texas Address Change option allows individuals to update their address information through the state's online portal. All that is required is a valid email address and a valid Texas Driver’s License or ID card number. The in-person Texas Address Change option requires the individual to visit their local driver's license office. The individual must bring their valid driver's license or identification card, and any documents that verify the new address. The by-mail Texas Address Change option allows individuals to submit their address change request by mail. To do this, the individual must complete the Change of Address form and mail it to the address listed on the form. The Change of Address form can be found on the Texas Department of Motor Vehicle's website.
