Tennessee Score Facial is a type of writ of summons issued by a court of law in the state of Tennessee. This writ is used to bring a defendant before a court to answer for a legal action. Score Facial is Latin for "to show cause", and the writ requires the defendant to show cause why they should not be held liable in the action. There are three types of Tennessee Score Facial writs — a Summons in Scire Facias, which summons a defendant to appear in court; a Score facial to Compel, which requires a defendant to complete a certain action; and a Score Facial of Judgment, which allows a plaintiff to enforce a judgment against a defendant. All three types of writs are issued from the court of law in Tennessee and require the defendant to comply with the order of the court.
