The South Carolina Confidential Reference List of Redacted Identifiers (CR LRI) is a list of identifiers used to protect confidential information in the state of South Carolina. It contains a set of identifiers that are not publicly available, and are used to protect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and other confidential information. The CR LRI includes two types of identifiers: redactable identifiers and non-redactable identifiers. Redactable identifiers are those that can be redacted (removed or replaced) from documents without compromising the accuracy of the document or the confidentiality of the information. Non-redactable identifiers are those that must remain in their original form in order for the document to be accurate.
