A Pennsylvania Precise FOR SEIZURE AND WRIT ISSUED is a legal document used in Pennsylvania to initiate the process of seizing someone's property. It is filed with the Prothonotary's Office of the Court of Common Pleas. There are three types of Pennsylvania Precise FOR SEIZURE AND WRIT ISSUED: a Seizure of Chattel, a Seizure of Chattel and Money, and a Seizure of Money. All three types of Precise require the plaintiff to fill out the form with the necessary information. The plaintiff must provide the debtor's name, the property or money to be seized, and the court in which the action is to be brought. The plaintiff must also provide information about the cause of action, such as the amount owed and the date of the judgment. After the form is completed, it must be filed with the Prothonotary's Office. The Prothonotary will then issue a writ of seizure and sale, which will direct the Sheriff to seize the property or money and put it in the hands of a designated court officer. The Sheriff will then proceed to sell the seized property or money at public auction in order to satisfy the judgment.
