The Pennsylvania Special Raffle Permit Local Option-Small Games of Chance Act 156 of 1988 (31.9 KiB) provides for organizations in the state of Pennsylvania to obtain a special raffle permit conducting small games of chance. This act provides three types of special raffle permits: Class A, Class B, and Class C. Class A permits are available to eligible organizations for specific fundraising activities. These organizations must obtain a permit from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to conduct games such as bingo, pull-tabs, daily drawings, and punchboards. Class B permits are for eligible organizations to conduct weekly drawings. The organization must obtain a permit from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to conduct games such as raffles, weekly drawings, and sports pools. Class C permits are available to eligible organizations to conduct small games of chance. Organizations must obtain a permit from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to conduct games such as large bingo, cash bingo, 50/50 raffles, and merchandise wheels. In addition, the Pennsylvania Special Raffle Permit Local Option-Small Games of Chance Act 156 of 1988 (31.9 KiB) also provides for the regulation of the funds generated by the small games of chance, including the establishment of trust accounts, the reporting of financial information, and the distribution of funds to the organizations.
