Pennsylvania Davis Bacon Wage Decision Hwy Jan 5 2018 (644.3 KiB) is a document issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry (L&I) that sets the minimum wage rates for workers employed on certain public works projects in the state of Pennsylvania. The document applies to all contractors and subcontractors performing work on public works projects, including road and highway projects, funded in whole or in part by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The document sets forth the prevailing wage rates for various classes of labor in each county in Pennsylvania, the number of hours required for the workweek, and the fringe benefit rates to be paid in addition to the wages. The document also sets forth the requirements for the payment of overtime wages and the rates for holiday pay. Additionally, the document contains information regarding the payment of wages and fringe benefits and the rules regarding the display of the wage rates. There are two types of Pennsylvania Davis Bacon Wage Decisions, one for highway projects and one for non-highway projects.
