This program was created in order to ensure that court reporters are adequately compensated for their services and to provide a fair and open marketplace for court reporting services. Pennsylvania IFP for Court Reporter is available in two different formats: Professional Services Independent Contractor (SIC) and Certified Professional Reporter (CPR). The SIC program is designed to provide court reporters with the flexibility to work independently and to earn a reasonable rate of compensation for their services. The CPR program is designed to ensure that court reporters are adequately trained and certified to provide their services to the legal community.
