Pennsylvania Mediator Certificate of Compliance is a document issued by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Office of Dispute Resolution (ODR) that certifies mediators have met the state's standards for mediator education and experience. It is a requirement for mediators to practice in the state of Pennsylvania. There are two types of Pennsylvania Mediator Certificate of Compliance: Basic Mediator Certificate of Compliance and Advanced Mediator Certificate of Compliance. To obtain a Basic Mediator Certificate of Compliance, mediators must have completed the required 36-hour basic mediation training program and have at least two years of experience in the practice of mediation. To obtain an Advanced Mediator Certificate of Compliance, mediators must have completed the required 36-hour basic mediation training program and have at least four years of experience in the practice of mediation.
