Oregon Satisfaction of Judgment is a legal document that is filed with the court when a judgment has been paid in full. This document is used to discharge a judgment lien that has been placed on a piece of property owned by the debtor so that the creditor's claim is satisfied and the debtor no longer has to pay the remaining balance. There are two types of Oregon Satisfaction of Judgment: (1) Voluntary Satisfaction of Judgment, which is filed by the debtor after they have paid off the judgment in full, and (2) Judicial Satisfaction of Judgment, which is filed by the court after the creditor has received payment. The Satisfaction of Judgment document must include the names of the creditor and debtor, the date and amount of the judgment, and any other relevant information about the judgment.
