Oklahoma Speeding-Elements is a traffic offense that occurs when a person drives faster than the posted speed limit. This offense is punishable by fines, points on the driver’s license, and even jail time. There are three types of Oklahoma Speeding-Elements: Basic Speeding, Excessive Speeding, and Aggressive Speeding. Basic Speeding is defined as exceeding the posted speed limit by up to 10 miles per hour. Excessive Speeding is defined as exceeding the posted speed limit by more than 10 miles per hour. Aggressive Speeding is defined as driving faster than the posted speed limit with a disregard for safety.
