Ohio Entry Of Continuance Advancement (OEC) is a state-funded program that provides financial assistance to low- and moderate-income Ohioans to help them purchase, build, or rehabilitate a home. The program offers a variety of loan options, including down payment and closing cost assistance, as well as other financial incentives. OEC offers two main types of loans: the Homebuyer Assistance Loan and the Home Improvement Loan. The Homebuyer Assistance Loan provides up to 5% of the purchase price of a home to be used for down payment and closing costs. The Home Improvement Loan offers up to $20,000 for repairs and improvements to an existing home. The OEC program also provides counseling and education services to assist with the home buying process.
