Ohio Precise is a document used in the state of Ohio to initiate a legal action in the Ohio court system. It is also known as an Ohio Writ of Summons or Precise for Summons. The Ohio Precise is used to request the court to issue a summons in civil cases, such as divorce, landlord-tenant disputes, and breach of contract. There are two types of Ohio Precise: Original and General. The Original Precise is used to initiate a lawsuit from scratch and contains the names of the parties involved, the case number, and the requested relief. The General Precise is used to add or substitute parties to an existing case and only requires the names of the parties involved.
