New York Complaint — Social Security is a legal action that a person may take against the Social Security Administration (SSA) if they feel they have been wrongfully denied disability benefits, or if they feel that the benefits they receive are inadequate. There are two types of New York Complaint — Social Security: Social Security Disability Insurance (SDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The complaint must be filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, or Western Districts of New York. The complaint must include the claimant’s name, Social Security number, and the basis for the claim, as well as a summary of the facts that support the claim. The court will review the complaint and determine whether the claimant is entitled to benefits or not.
